Provide top level IT and Datacenter operations support to Acentek employees and customers. This includes but is not limited to Acentek’s Datacenter related service provider technologies and corporate IT infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and design Acentek's technology services with input from other departments as appropriate.
- Provide top level IT support to internal Acentek employees and Acentek customers by maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting Acentek's technology services.
- Develop and maintain plans and procedures to ensure security, reliability, and back-up of Acentek’s technology services.
- Maintain detailed documentation relating to design infrastructure, standards, licensing, copyright agreements, and service/maintenance arrangements, and ensure internal and external compliance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree in Information Technology or related field. Minimum of two years’ experience supporting Wi-Fi, Ethernet switching, VMWare virtualization, Linux, and Windows servers. Must have analytical problem solving skills and excellent communication skills.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, previous IT experience with implementation, maintenance, and administration of VMWare virtualization, Linux and Windows Server environments, Wi-Fi, IP Video, VoIP, Network Security, Fiber Optics, Microsoft Active Directory, SQL, Python scripting, and ISP Application Servers.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A valid driver's license. One or more of the following certifications: CCNA, MCSA, MTA, VCP, RHCSA or equivalent.
