Last Call Return (Automatic Callback) gives you the telephone number of your last caller, the time and date of the call, and the option to recall that number.

To use:

  1. Listen for dial tone and press *69.
  2. Dial 1 to activate Call Return.

If their line is busy, you can hang up and your phone will continue trying for up to 30 minutes. A special call-back ring will alert you if the line becomes free.

To cancel: Press *89.

When you have Caller ID, this service will route any incoming call that has its telephone number blocked to a recording that states you are not accepting blocked calls.

To use:

  1. Listen for dial tone and press *77.
  2. Listen for confirmation message and hang up.

To cancel: Press *87 and listen for message.

Call Forwarding transfers (forwards) your incoming calls to another telephone number of your choice.

To use:

  1. Listen for dial tone, then dial *72. You will hear three beeps followed by dial tone.
  2. Someone must answer. Wait 5 seconds and then you must hang up first. Call Forwarding will then be in effect.

If the line is busy or nobody answers, hang up and immediately repeat steps 1 and 2. When you hear two beeps, the service is in effect. Your telephone can still be used to place outgoing calls even though incoming calls are being forwarded. Call forwarding remains in effect until canceled from your phone.

To cancel:

  1. Listen for dial tone, then dial *73.
  2. Listen for two beeps, then hang up.

With this service, your incoming calls can be forwarded to a number of your choice if you are on the phone. (If forwarded to a long distance number, long distance charges will apply.)

To use:

  1. 1. Listen for dial tone, then dial *90.
  2. 2. Listen for a special dial tone.
  3. 3. Dial the telephone number where your calls need to be forwarded. When someone answers, the call forwarding is in effect.

If the line is busy or nobody answers, hang up and immediately repeat steps 1 and 2. When you hear two beeps, the service is in effect. Your telephone can still be used to place outgoing calls and receive incoming calls. With Call Forward Busy in effect, all calls are forwarded if someone is talking on your phone.

To cancel:

  1. 1. Listen for dial tone, then dial *91
  2. 2. Listen for two beeps, then hang up

You can have all of your calls automatically forwarded to another number. You can also decide how many times the phone should ring before the calls are forwarded.

To use:

  1. Listen for dial tone, then dial *92
  2. Listen for special dial tone
  3. Enter the number of rings before call is forwarded (2-9)

4. Immediately dial the telephone number where you want your calls to be forwarded. When someone answers, the call forwarding is in effect.

Call Trace allows you to activate an immediate trace of the last incoming call. This is useful after receiving a harassing or prank call if you wish to involve law enforcement.

To activate:

  1. Hang up after harassing call.
  2. Pick up the receiver and listen for dial tone.
  3. Press *57.
  4. Follow recorded message to activate trace.
  5. Listen for second message stating successful or unsuccessful trace.
  6. Notify law enforcement agency if you wish to take action,

Charge no charge/available to all customers

You can transfer a phone call to another phone number and drop out of the conversation. (Not available in Drenthe area.)
To use:

  1. Press the switchhook or flash key
  2. Dial phone number you wish to transfer call to
  3. Hang up and the call is transferred

When you are already on the phone, Call Waiting alerts you that another call is coming in. You will hear a “beep,” but the calling party will hear normal ringing.

To use:

  1. Put the existing call on hold by depressing the switch- hook** for a half second, or hang up if you wish to end your first call.
  2. Answer the second call when your phone rings.

When you have a call you don’t want interrupted, you can Cancel Call Waiting before you place your call.

To cancel:

  1. Listen for dial tone, then dial *70. After a short pause, you’ll hear a confirmation tone followed by dial tone.
  2. Then dial the number you wish to call.

To activate Cancel Call Waiting during a call, you must have Three-Way Calling on your line.

  1. Depress the switchhook* to place your call on “hold.”
  2. Wait for dial tone, then dial *70. Your first call will be re-estabished.

With Caller ID, the name and number of the party calling you will be shown on your display telephone and on your TV if you subscribe to AcenTek Video Service.

(Note: some numbers will not be displayed if the calling party blocks their number or if their telephone company does not have the necessary equipment to handle Caller ID.)

With Call Waiting ID, you will see who is calling you when you are on the phone and hear the “beep-beep” to indicate a second call is waiting. To utilize Call Waiting ID, you need the Caller ID and Call Waiting features on your line, and a compatible display phone or add-on unit.

Prevents your telephone number from being displayed on called parties’ Caller ID unit or telephone.

Line Blocking will prevent your number from being displayed on all calls made from your line except calls to toll-free numbers and 911. If you are calling someone who has Caller ID, the word “Private” or “Anonymous” will be displayed instead of your telephone number. This service is available to all residential customers and some businesses, such as law enforcement agencies.

To cancel the blocking on a per call basis:

Dial *82 before dialing an outgoing number. The line is immedi- ately reblocked after your call.

Per Call Blocking will block your number for one call.

Your telephone rings with a special ringing pattern when you receive a call from a select list of phone numbers that you have programmed into the system.

To use:

  1. Press *61 .
  2. Listen to the voice instructions on how to turn on/off and make changes to your Distinctive Ringing list

Repeat Dial automatically redials the last busy number you called.

To use:

  1. After a busy signal, hang up. Then lift handset and listen for dial tone.
  2. Press *66.

This feature is active for 30 minutes. When the line is free, you will be alerted with a distinctive ring, and the call will automatically be made.

To cancel: Press *86.

Speed Calling allows you to call frequently dialed numbers with the touch of a button. You can select a short list of eight telephone numbers or a long list of 30 telephone numbers. This is a fast way to call for help—just have 911 as one of your speed call selections!

To establish or change a speed code:

  1. Lift the handset and listen for dial tone.
  2. Dial the access code (74# for 8-number list, 75# for 30-number list).
  3. When you hear a second dial tone, dial the speed code you wish to assign (numbers 2 - 9 for an eight-number list or 20 - 49 for a 30-number list).
  4. Now dial the complete telephone number. Be sure to dial 1+ area code if the number is long distance. If successful, you will hear a confirmation tone.

To use speed calling, lift the receiver, listen for dial tone, and dial the speed code you have assigned to the number you wish to call.

With this service, you create a list of telephone numbers based on which calls you want. Callers not on the list will be routed to an announcement informing them their call is not being accepted at this time. Your selected call swill have a specialized ring.

To use:

  1. Press *61 .
  2. Press #, dial the number, press #.

To access or turn off this service:

  1. Press *64. Message will say if list is on or off.
  2. To turn your list on or off, dial 3.

Three-way calling allows you to add a third person to your conver-sation—local or long distance.

To use:

  1. Place first call on hold by depressing the switchhook for a second. Listen for three beeps and then dial tone.
  2. Dial the telephone number of the person you want to add to the conversation. You may talk privately before complet- ing the three-way connection.
  3. Depress the switchhook for a second to add the person you have on hold. Now you have a three-way call.

To disconnect, the first person can simply hang up. When the added person hangs up, you must momentarily push the switchhook to break the connection. All three connections are disconnected when you hang up.

This service allows you to create a list of telephone numbers, and program a forwarding number. When someone on your list calls you, their call will ring at a forwarded phone.

To enter the “Forward-To” number (first time):

  1. Listen for dial tone.
  2. Press *63.
  3. Press 3 and enter the “Forward-To” number.
  4. Press #, then 1 to confirm voice prompt.

To make your list (first time):

  1. Press #, enter phone number, press #.

For changes to list:

  1. Press *63.
  2. Press #, then 1 to confirm voice prompt.

To access or turn off this service:

  1. Press *63, listen to message to tell if list is on or off.
  2. Dial 3 to turn list on or off.

With this service, you can call a predesignated number or emergency service just by lifting the handset.

To use:

  1. Lift the handset and wait.
  2. 2. Within 14 seconds, the predesignated number will be dialed automatically.
  3. 3. Any other number can be dialed before the 14 seconds have elapsed.

This service allows you to block numbers. You can either block selected numbers ahead of time or block unwanted calls. In either case, the caller is rerouted to a recorded message and your phone does not ring.

To use:

  1. Dial *60.
  2. Follow voice instructions and dial 3 to turn ON or OFF.

To add the number of the last call you received: Press # 01# (even if you don’t know the number)

To hear the numbers on your list: Dial 1.

To add a number to your list: Press # and follow instructions.

To remove a number from your list: Press * and follow instructions.

To hear instructions again: Dial 0.
